Assistant Portfolio Manager

This position is operational and answers directly to the Senior Portfolio Manager (SPM). This individual is involved in the ongoing research and development of investment strategies, portfolio management and security selection as determined by the SPM. In addition, this position is tasked with the maintenance of the client portfolio database which includes making sure that client portfolios are in line with assigned models and rebalancing of portfolios is occurring at the proper time and frequency to meet client needs. This position is also responsible for creating and maintaining reports as necessary to meet management oversight requirements to assure client portfolio standards are met and maintained. This position will work closely with clients and internal departments including Portfolio Strategist, Product Management, Relationship Management, as well as various teams within the company to provide analysis, research and reporting of company client portfolios.

 Primary Duties:

  • Assist in the development, research, and reporting of client portfolios.

  • Assist in the development of client investment policy recommendations.

  • Assist in the development and ongoing analysis of new client investment strategies and

    solutions to meet client investment objectives.

  • Assist in capital markets research, creating and delivering internal and external presentations.

  • Maintain client reporting and rebalancing database.

 Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in economics, accounting, or finance and investments.

  • Experience in financial services a plus

  • Series 7 General Securities License

This is a full-time position with the opportunity to grow in the company. Compensation will depend upon experience of the candidate as well as any marketing, financial service training, licenses or designations held by the candidate.
